Thanks to support from TAC, we are delighted to offer subsidised Bus travel for patrons to enjoy a day at the races. We know times are tough right now and we hope this reduced fee helps make planning your day a little easier!
We have buses running from various pick-up points from Ballarat, Maryborough, Avoca and surrounding townships.
If your town is not listed, please contact the appropriate Bus line direct to arrange a charter.
AVOCA
Avoca Shuttle bus will pick up on a continuous loop from 11:00am – 1:30pm from the Avoca Post Office and Avoca Caravan Park.
The shuttle service is FREE, and bookings are not compulsory, however can be booked below if you would like to make a booking to secure a pick up.
NOTE: The Avoca Shuttle runs on a continuous loop from 11:00am - 1:30pm and takes about 20min per run.
Return Departs Avoca Racecourse from 5.00pm

Ballarat Central – Sturt St/Albert Street stop @ 10.15am
Waubra – The Springs Hotel @ 10:45am
Lexton - Williamson St/Sunraysia Hwy (PTV bus stop) @11am
Return Departs Avoca Racecourse @5.45pm

Tickets are $15 per person return with a MAX 1 tickets per booking, so if you are travelling with a group then will need to book individually.
